Taking inspiration from the Inktober challenge that’s been doing the rounds on social media, I’m creating a series of black-and-white illustrations. Each illustration is based on a word from a list. For a month, one word – and therefore one drawing – must be produced every day! It’s an excellent exercise for drawing more instinctively and letting go of the pressure of the blank page. I’ve ended up with around thirty illustrations, a selection of which I’ve included below.
