Bruxelles-Openfield
A train journey

Brief and challenge
Objective:
To create an effective and poetic animation using a combination of JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
Challenge:
I need to come up with an animation concept where scrolling triggers an action.
I then need to create the website elements and tackle new technical challenges.
Construction of components

Background scene: this is what will move when you scroll.
Train that will remain stationary on the left-hand side of the screen

Wheels that spin round on their own thanks to the scroll function

Result
I’ve found a web page that lets you move the train forward. Below is a video screenshot of the scrolling. You can also find it on my Instagram page @leplankeur.
