Inspired by the Inktober challenge on social media, I created a series of black-and-white illustrations. Each illustration is the result of a word from a list. For one month, one word—and thus one drawing—had to be produced each day! It was a great exercise that helped me draw more instinctively and get past the pressure of the blank page. In the end, I came up with around thirty illustrations, a selection of which is shown below.
